La Golondrina

I love to dance and especially a waltz. Trying to teach somebody is probably one of my favorite things to do with dancing, in fact, I just taught one of my friends how to. She had never really been that in to dancing but I think for the moment, I changed that. The song that we danced to was called, "La Golondrina." She has asked me for some more lessons which really excites me. I have never really given anybody lessons on how to dance but maybe this could be a little something to do on the side.

A look at the Past

The other day as over visiting with a friend. We had been talking about high school and the things we used to do when she brought up a play we did called, "The Pirates of Penzance." She started telling me about how great I was in it and that she was there all three times just to see me perform. I realized that it was only a high school play but it really meant a lot to me that she said this. You really wouldn't think that somebody would remember such a thing but I guess if it was good enough you just might. I never really thought of myself as being that good at acting but maybe I should start doing a little on the side...HAHA!! Probably not but it sure sounds fun.

What a nice start!!

The other night, I went to a friends house that I hadn't seen in years. We were all very excited about spending the evening together until shortly after I arrived, due to a storm, all the electricity went out. We had to light tons of candles and fire up the fireplace. Even though the power went out, we still had a great time. We ate a GIGANTIC meal, which of course was absolutley amazing and pretty well spent the rest of the evening just talking and catching up on the things that we had missed in each others lives. Now that we are all caught back up, hopefully we wont't let happen again.
